After our last escapade with fingerpaints, I realize he is too young for all 6 containers of paint and I am too irritated by messes -- I now know that the kitchen mess can be worse than week-old Cheerios milk-glued to the floor. I am still finding "precious" fingerprint paintings in miraculously hidden places of the kitchen (under the chairs, in the window frame, etc.). Pudding mixes work for me b/c chocolate is still good no matter how long it's been smeared on your kitchen table.
