Crime of Fashion
This one is for my Dad.
If you are a member of my family that witnessed my father mow the lawn in the '80's, no, the '90's....no, even last weekend, you've already seen this outfit.
It's the summer athletic wear with cowboy boots outfit.
Alex is starting to develop that "I want to wear my (insert description of inappropriate shoes) with my (insert description of current outfit that I made him wear because he'd rather just wear a diaper).

7/24/08 "Lil Chef"
After our last escapade with fingerpaints, I realize he is too young for all 6 containers of paint and I am too irritated by messes -- I now know that the kitchen mess can be worse than week-old Cheerios milk-glued to the floor. I am still finding "precious" fingerprint paintings in miraculously hidden places of the kitchen (under the chairs, in the window frame, etc.). Pudding mixes work for me b/c chocolate is still good no matter how long it's been smeared on your kitchen table.

Not REALLY a band.
OK, so 'TheHardinFamilyBand' was the only blog URL available besides thehardins-thehardins. Although thehardins-thehardins is memorable I think the 'band' moniker is more catchy, don't you? Many of you may remember our previous attempts at blogging such as alexander.davidhardin.net (now defunct) or even an earlier blogger blog that has since vanished into the intertubes, or possibly The Wayback Machine.
If at some point you fail to understand what I'm talking about or if I use a
word you don't know, look it up on Google or Wikipedia. I may
even try to link to an explanation, just for you, mom.
Although I once swore by Wordpress I have decided that in the interest of simplicity I will use blogger. Although I may not enjoy the notoriety I had with my previous technical blog (1,000 hits a week!), I think this will be more fun. Thanks for visiting and I will try to post pictures AND video soon. Also, if you see me, remind me to mention this little endeavor to Lisa as she may also want to post from time to time.
